  • Steve Wallace

    Steve Wallace - President

    Before launching S & J Precision in a two car garage with wife Sheila in 1990, Steve Wallace learned his trade managing and operating a number of area machine shops, developing the skills necessary to take any job from prototype to production. In the mid-eighties, Steve spent two years in Houston, Texas where he owned a printing business before returning to the work he knows and loves. He is a 1975 graduate of Vincennes University. In 2005 Steve and Sheila bought Filtration Technologies, Inc and moved it from Louisville to New Albany, Indiana. They have more than doubled the size of FTS since they acquired it, adding new equipment lines and employees. Steve is very involved with every quote and the development of new equipment. Steve and Sheila have 2 children, Jason and Nikki and 2 grandchildren with one more on the way.

  • Jason Wallace

    Jason Wallace

    Jason started working in the machine shop when he was in high school working for S&J and taking machine shop classes at Prosser Vocational School. He worked his way up at S&J starting with sweeping floors, sawing and deburring parts. He then moved up into manual machining and then programming and running the CNC machines. He is currently the General Manager of the company.
    Jason is a graduate of New Albany High School, and also has an Associates degree from Vincennes University in Machine Trades.

  • Brian Morris

    Brian Morris

    A native of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Brian has over 30 years of experience in filter and automation production equipment and has been involved with every aspect of the machines. Serving many functions within the company he is a great resource person if the customer has a need to develop a new product line. He is also a US Navy veteran and the recipient of 3 Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medals as well as the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. A 1992 graduate of the University of Louisville, the premier University in the Commonwealth, he reside in Kentucky and has daughter at Bellarmine University.

  • Bill Noel

    Bill Noel

    Bill started his professional career as an Apprentice Tool Maker for Newport News Ship Building and Drydock where he became a certified nuclear machinist and worked on machining reactor components for the Submarines and Aircraft carriers built by the company.
    From 1987-1994, during his employment with American Air Filter, Bill worked as a machinist and contributed to their machine designs. During his 7-year employment, Bill traveled with company maintenance crews to various locations working on installation of new equipment, overhauling and moving manufacturing facilities.
    After his departure from AAF in 1994, Bill helped to start Filtration Technology Systems and currently works as a Manufacturing Manager.

  • Jerry Goodhue

    Jerry Goodhue

    Jerry came to work for S&J/FTS in the summer 2006. Previously working in the mill supply distribution industry, he brings nearly 20 years of experience in purchasing and sales of commodities used in machining and manufacturing. Using product and material knowledge he negotiates with vendors to obtain the best possible costs and delivery on everything from raw materials to manufactured products used by S&J and FTS. In his spare time Jerry enjoys fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family.

  • Brent Musgrove

    Brent Musgrove

    Brent Musgrove of Lanesville, Indiana began his engineering career earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale in 2000. Having worked in a machine shop, industrial manufacturing facilities for consumer and commercial products, as well as automotive components, he has developed a vast knowledge of design/integration of tooling fixtures along with automated equipment. He has over 22 years of experience with various CAD modeling software, CNC programming/operation, 3D printing knowledge and equipment to develop prototypes of his designs. He takes pride in being very detailed and precise to ensure a quality product is designed and follows thru with the production of the equipment to provide the customer with a well-rounded solution. In his spare time Brent enjoys camping, hiking, woodworking and spending time with his family.
